Many scientists believe that our production of (CO2) Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases has a heating effect on the atmosphere, and this might be very dangerous for human life. This essay will examine the matter of worldwide warming and suggest some ways of solving the matter.

Many problems could result from global warming. One of the most important problems is the rising water level. This could end in the flooding of low lying coastal areas and cities, like Egypt, Netherlands, and Bangladesh. Some countries might even disappear completely! Another problem caused by heating is changes in weather patterns. Many areas of the planet are experiencing increased hurricanes, floods, and other unusual weather. A third problem related to heating is that the effect on animals. Fish populations might be affected, while some insects which spread disease might become more common.
Global warming is the greatest challenge facing our planet. It is, in fact, the rise within the temperature of the earth’s neon- surface air. It is one of the foremost current and widely discussed factors. It has a far-reaching impact on the biodiversity and climate of the earth. Several current trends clearly demonstrate that heating is directly impacting on rising sea levels, the melting of ice caps and significant worldwide climate changes. In short, heating represents a fundamental threat to all or any living things on earth.
The global average temperature rose significantly during the past century. The prevailing scientific view is that the majority of the temperature increases since the mid-20th century has been caused by increases in atmospheric greenhouse emission concentrations produced by the act. Most scientists agree that the planet’s temperature has risen 0.5 degrees Celsius since 1900 and can still increase at an increasing rate. As a result, the world is getting warmer. The year 1990 was the most well-liked year within the last century.
Together with 1991, the years of 1983, 1987, 1988 and 1989 are measured to be the warmest six years within the last hundred years. The year 1991 was the second warmest year of the past century. Unfortunately, the imbalance which we've created between our life and earth is already showing the signs of disasters within the sort of flood, cyclones, landslides, tsunami, drought, etc. If the imbalance continues to rise, at some point this may pose an issue mark on the existence of this planet. Carbon dioxide (C02) which is an important constituent of the environment is causing a warming effect on the earth’s surface.

The C02 level is predicted to rise in the future thanks to the ongoing burning of fossil fuels and land-use change. The rate of rising will depend largely on uncertain economic, sociological, technological and natural developments. Other gases like methane, CFCs, laughing gas, tropospheric ozone also is liable for heating. Increases altogether these gases are thanks to explosive increase, increased industrial expansion, technological advancement, deforestation, and growing urbanization, etc.
There is an in-depth relation between heating and increase. Today the massive population on earth is using the technologies which are destructive for the world. Approximately, 80 percent of atmospheric C02 increases are thanks to man’s use of fossil fuels either within the sort of coal, gas or oil. A large portion of carbon emission is attributed to the burning of gasoline within the ICE of vehicles. Vehicles with poor mileage contribute the foremost to heating. Besides, the sulfur group gas is the most harmful for this. Its contribution is 30 percent in heating. This gas is additionally emitted from the burning of fossil fuels.
An increase in global temperatures will cause a rise in the water level.
It will lead to the melting of glaciers, changes in rainfall patterns, increased intensity, and frequency of extreme weather. As per the newest survey report the speed of melting of glaciers has seen a sharp increase in recent times. Even those glaciers are affected by global warming which has been considered permanent. The shrinking of glaciers goes to pose a serious problem of beverage.
The sea levels as a result of the melting of glaciers have risen from 0.35 mm to 0.4 mm. Scientists have warned in their reports that the majority of the glaciers will disappear within a period of 15 to 25 years. It will create problems of beverage and food grains in most of the North American countries. India is not unaffected from it. The Himalayan glaciers have shrunk about 30 percent after 1970.
The rise in sea levels may be a major explanation for concern. A large number of cities located in coastal areas will submerge within the sea. Besides, many island countries will ultimately “lose their existence and can be washed faraway from the surface of the world. The damage of rising sea levels is diverse. Buildings and roads on the brink of the water might be flooded and that they could suffer damage from hurricanes and tropical storms. Experts believe that heating could increase the intensity of hurricanes by over 50 percent. In addition, because the sea rises, erosion takes place, particularly on steep banks.
The growing concerns over global temperatures have led to nations, states, corporations, and individuals to prolong an idea of action to avert things. As a result, the world’s primary international agreement on combating heating was reached in Kyoto in 1997 which came to be referred to as the Kyoto Protocol. However, ten years have passed; things don't appear to be very changed. It seems that the member countries aren't very serious about its devastating effects.

In addition, forestation is often of great help during this regard. Planting more trees and reducing timber cuts worldwide will help restore the imbalance. Secondly, we must follow an environmental policy of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’, i.e.. Fourthly, every individual should remember the importance of a protective environment. Besides, eco- friendly technologies must be promoted and must be substituted with the technologies which cause great emission of worldwide warming gases. The public awareness campaigns can be of great help in this regard because unless each and every individual is aware of promoting the reuse of anything. Thirdly, the utilization of fuel-efficient vehicles should be promoted as these vehicles have lower emissions of harmful gases only governments’ effect cannot bring the desired difference.

In conclusion, if we make small changes now within the way we live, we will avoid huge changes within the future. Scientists, governments, and individuals must work together to beat this threat.
